My life consistently revolves around the space between science and the arts. These two worlds are commonly stereotyped as two extreme ends of a spectrum with science viewed as a rigid, structured, by the books mentality and the arts seen as a more fluid and occasionally chaotic way of thinking. However, the realization that these two disciplines are both an attempt to explain the world around us allows for a beautiful melting pot of ideas that makes for a more evolved artist and progressive scientist. These interactions are what I am most passionate about in my research and serve as the inspiration for many of my photos.
